His Corner
Bishop James Archie, a native of Farmerville, Louisiana, was called to the ministry in 1967 under the leadership of Pastor Bessie Whitney in Sacramento, California. He served faithfully under her tutelage until the Lord led him and his brother, Bishop George Archie, to launch out on their own. Moments of Miracles radio broadcast was born. God blessed and the ministry progressed to become known as the Moments of Blessings House of Prayer Church.
In 1971, Bishop James along with his wife Lady Marie Archie and their family, began commuting to Fresno, California. They started out pastoring a small group of believers birthing Moments of Blessings House of Prayer in the true apostolic nature of the book of Acts. That was over 30 years ago and God has continued not only to show himself faithful, but He has carried this ministry to new dimensions. Bishop James has served faithfully since his relocation. He is a true spiritual leader and father to so many. God has anointed him to teach and preach by revelation and to minister directly into the daily lives of the many who tune in either in services or through media outreach.
Bishop Archie has received commendations for his milestone in ministry and service to the community of Fresno by President George Bush, California Secretary of State, Bill Jones, and the Mayor of Fresno, Alan Autry.
Her Corner
Lady Marie, as she is affectionately called, currently oversees the Women's Auxiliary here at Moments of Blessings House of Prayer Church of Fresno. An experienced teacher, she has conducted workshops and has been featured as a keynote speaker for many women's conferences. Her ministry has allowed her to share her gift as a wife, mother and teacher at conferences and retreats throughout California and across the country.
With a love for reading and teaching, Lady Marie has taught Sunday School as well as implemented Vacation Bible School programs during the summer.
